Peppa Pig ‘most loved’ attraction at Leolandia

Introduction of Peppa Pig World helps Italian theme park to record year.

Italian theme park Leolandia enjoyed a record breaking 2015 season – buoyed by the opening of Peppa Pig World.

According to Interpark, Leolandia achieved a rise in customer satisfaction throughout the season, with the park also reporting a 20% increase in year on year revenue.

Peppa Pig World was the most loved attraction, with an average score of 9.6 out of 10.

Massimiliano Freddi, vice president of strategic development at Leolandia, said: “The choice to focus on a beloved character like Peppa Pig was surely a winning one.

“Thanks to the Pigs’ family, the average age of our children guests has lowered, finally proving that even the little ones can have safe fun in an amusement park.”

Leolandia is now closed, but will reopen in March 2016.
