Peanuts unveils first Snoopy face for Apple Watch

Peanuts Worldwide and WildBrain have expanded the global partnership with Apple, revealing that the first Snoopy face for Apple Watch will be launching in the autumn.

The watch face – which will launch for watchOS10 – features Snoopy, Woodstock and themes based on the Peanuts comic strip.

More than 140 unique Peanuts animations have been created for the watch face by WildBrain Studios in partnership with Charles Schulz Creative Associates and the Apple design team. The characters interact and play with the watch hands, react to the weather conditions in the area, or even get active when the user does a workout.

The introduction of the Snoopy face for Apple Watch marks an expansion of the global partnership between Apple, Peanuts Worldwide and WildBrain, which has seen Apple TV+ become the official home for all Peanuts content, including multiple award-winning new original series, specials and documentaries, plus Peanuts classics such as A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, A Charlie Brown Christmas and It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

“Snoopy has a long and proud history on watch faces, and we are thrilled Apple Watch users can now experience the joy of seeing Snoopy and Woodstock come to life in such a delightful new way,” commented Tim Erickson, evp at Peanuts Worldwide. “We’re thrilled to expand the creative interplay between Apple, Peanuts and WildBrain that began with content and now extends to Apple Watch, for fans to further enjoy their love of the Peanuts brand.”

watchOS 10 will be available this autumn as a free software update for Apple Watch Series 4 or later paired with iPhone Xs or later, running iOS 17.
