Paul Williamson retires from Aykroyd & Sons

Paul was part of the licensee’s team for the last 20 years as sales and marketing director.

Aykroyd & Sons’ Paul Williamson has retired from his role as sales and marketing director at the apparel licensee.

Paul (pictured centre with Nigel and David Aykroyd) has been an integral part of the licensee’s team for the last 20 years, with his knowledge and experience of both retail sales and licensing portfolios recognised and acknowledged throughout the trade.

Paul has performed a major role in the growth and development of Aykroyd’s business and was instrumental in developing the overseas sourcing department following the closure of UK manufacturing.

A statement from the team at Aykroyd’s said: “Paul’s reputation and standing within the trade are exemplary and he will be sorely missed by all associated with him in Aykroyd’s, in licensing and in retail.

“We must also add that his full recovery from a critical illness further demonstrated his amazing strength of character and determination which has embodied his whole career at Aykroyd’s and his overall attitude to life and work.

“Aykroyd’s would very much like to take this opportunity to wish Paul a most wonderful retirement and sincerely hope that Leslie and all his family will enjoy his retirement to the full. Thank you Paul for everything you have given us.”
