Patrick Bailey joins Global Licensing & Fashion UK

“Patrick’s extensive experience in licensing is a great addition to our management team.”

The ambitious growth at Global Licensing and Fashion UK continues, with Patrick Bailey being appointed as chief operating officer.

Patrick joins the licensed apparel group – which merged together last year – from Blues Clothing, where he spent nine years as licensing director.

Prior to that, he was international licensing director at Hasbro.

Commenting on Patrick’s appointment, Gurdev Mattu, md of Fashion UK, said: “Patrick’s extensive experience in licensing is a great addition to our management team. We are confident that he will further strengthen our team and ensure that we continue to steer our brands in the right direction.”

The group is currently moving forward with its growth plans, actively breaking into international markets and launching new design divisions. As part of his new role, Patrick will be involved in progressing this expansion and building on the group’s knowledge of the European markets.

He will also contribute to enhancing the group’s culture and add to the motivation of the management team.

Patrick added: “The strategic plans for the group’s future growth show why they are market leaders and have such a significant presence in licensed apparel.

“This is an exciting opportunity that allows me to bring my experience in the licensing industry, and broader commercial background, to the Fashion UK and Global Licensing group. I look forward to helping the group reach new heights and achieve its business goals.”
