Publisher ending 2017 on a high following host of consumer and industry award wins.
Parragon is moving into its 30th anniversary year following a successful 2017, which saw it win a plethora of industry and consumer awards.
The publisher has picked up accolades for both its licensed and own IP ranges, including recognition at The Licensing Awards and Progressive Preschool Awards.
Now in its ninth year, the Independent Toy Awards give more than 900 of the UK’s independent toy retailers the chance to vote for the best products across each category and the toys they believe parents will be buying this Christmas.
Three of Parragon’s titles were highlighted including its PAW Patrol Pawfect Activity Case – for which is received Silver in the Children’s Gifts category – and its My Little Pony 3D Jigsaw Tin – in the Jigsaws & Puzzles category.
Meanwhile, The Nutcracker picked up a Bronze award in Best Design/Illustrated Children’s Book at the Junior Design Awards.
“2017 has been an award-winning year for Parragon,” said Kirsty Bradbury, group sales and marketing director at the company. “Achieving recognition both from within the industry and, even more importantly, the wider public, for our continued investment in developing innovative, engaging and high quality products that both entertain and educate is a real honour.
“As a company we are making major strides in our ongoing commitment to developing our own IP lines plus working with character licenses to develop products that both reflect and enhance our company offering.
“We are very much looking forward to 2018 and celebrating new licence introductions and product launches.”
