Third novel in the series arrives ahead of Descendants 2 airing on Disney Channel in October.
Parragon has confirmed the UK release of the third novel in the Descendants series.
The arrival of Rise of the Isle of the Lost: A Descendants Novel comes ahead of Descendants 2 airing on the Disney Channel in October.
The title follows on from success for Parragon with The Isle of the Lost – which is the prequel to the Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants – and Return to the Isle of the Lost.
Once again penned by young adult fiction author Melissa de la Cruz, Rise of the Isle of the Lost will be supported with a website presence, in addition to strong social media presence across Parragon’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels.
Etta Saunders, head of licensed publishing of Parragon, said: “We are so pleased to be offering the latest instalment in Melissa de la Cruz’s Descendants series.
“We have no doubt that the die-hard fanbase for Descendants will be delighted to find out what happens next in the story and are eagerly anticipating the release of Descendants 2 on The Disney Channel.”
Descendants 2 has already proved a hit in the US, where it launched in July, notching up 21 million viewers and breaking multiple social media records including 185.5 million video views, 108.7 million video impressions and 16.3 million engagements.
