Paramount Consumer Products UK partner showcase returns

Paramount Consumer Products UK held its annual Partner Showcase, including an awards ceremony in London’s West End yesterday (14 July), returning for an in-person event for the first time since 2019.

The event – organised by Paramount’s UK Consumer Products team – showcased upcoming franchise plans and celebrated partners’ outstanding collaboration from the past year, honouring key retailers, partners and licensees.

The Paramount Consumer Products UK Partner Awards gave a spotlight to great collaboration over the last year, as well as the range of innovative product launches based on some of the company’s best-loved brands and IP, from preschool powerhouses such as Baby Shark all the way through to adult classics like Top Gun.

The event at BAFTA’s 195 Piccadilly also offered the franchise community a first look at new brands and IP debuting on Paramount+, the company’s new streaming service which launched in June. Among the brands featured in the private showcase were Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek Prodigy and PAW Patrol.

The winners of the 2022 Paramount Partner Awards are:

  • Best Softlines Partner: Blues Group
  • Best Hardlines Partner: Addo Play
  • Best CPG Partner: Beiersdorf
  • Best Paper & Gifting Partner: Danilo Promotions
  • Best Kids Product Range: PAW Patrol Unisex Range at George Asda
  • Best Adult Product Range: Nick 90s Genderless Range at Primark

“Yesterday, for the first time since 2019, we were able to host our 2022 Partner Showcase in person and we couldn’t have been more excited,” commented Venetia Davie, vp consumer products, UK & Ireland at Paramount. “Our partners, licensees, and retailers play an important role in the continued success of Paramount Consumer Products, and we’re delighted to be back celebrating their wonderful collaborations with our brands.

“2023 is set to be a monumental year for Paramount and we’re glad we had the opportunity to share an exclusive look at some of our most exciting content debuting soon on Paramount+.”
