Papier unveils new Disney collaboration

Online stationer reveals capsule range featuring iconic film favourites from the archive.

Online stationer Papier has added Disney to its roster of collaborators – revealing a capsule range featuring a number of its iconic characters.

Properties including Dumbo, Bambi, Beauty and the Beast, Alice in Wonderland, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, plus Ariel, Flounder and Sebastian from The Little Mermaid are featured across a raft of product.

The collection consists of notecards, notebooks, announcements as well as party and wedding essentials – invitations, place cards and save the dates.

“Collaborating with Disney was a natural fit for us as we are constantly inspired by film and cinema, animation and illustration,” explained Taymoor Atighetchi, founder and ceo of Papier. “Exploring the Disney archive opened our eyes up to how much drawing and creativity went into the films we once enjoyed in childhood and possibly didn’t appreciate from a design perspective.

“We see the collection appealing to design-conscious adults looking for a touch of nostalgia, as well as children experiencing Disney for the first time.”
