Pantone has revealed its Colour of the Year 2024, Peach Fuzz – a colour which “captures our desire to nurture ourselves and others” according to the company.
The gentle peach tone is described as a colour “radiant with warmth and modern elegance”.
Leatrice Eiseman, executive director at Pantone Color Institute, commented: “In seeking a hue that echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection, we chose a colour radiant with warmth and modern elegance. A shade that resonates with compassion, offers a tactile embrace, and effortlessly bridges the youthful with the timeless.”
A number of collaborations were also confirmed at the same time by Pantone including with Ruggable which has launched a limited edition collection of three rugs, a doormat and a bath mat; plus Spoonflower which has an exclusive launch collection of original designs by Spoonflower artists Dani Dazey, Janine Lecour and Holli Zollinger – all available on wallpaper, fabric and home décor.
For photographers, Polaroid has launched a limited edition, i-Type colour film; Motorola has brought Peach Fuzz to its razr and edge series of phones; while Cariuma is once again the official footwear partner.
