Licensed gifts specialist doubled the size of its stand in New York this year.
Licensed giftware specialist Paladone has enjoyed a busy US Toy Fair, with the company significantly upping its presence on the show floor this year.
Paladone doubled its stand space for the show – which concludes today (February 20) at New York’s Jacob K Javits Convention Center.
Alex Ryan, marketing manager at Paladone, explained to The Source about the licensee’s reasons for attending the show: “There’s an increasing trend in providing shelf space in toy stores for older kids/young teens, less play and more gift.
“A great amount of Paladone’s offering fits in well for this audience and we’ve found ever increasing interest from toy buyers over our four years at the Toy Fair.”
Alex continued: “Paladone have developed more lines for launching in the US in 2018 than the entire of 2017’s offering combined. That, alongside the increase in demand, meant we needed more space in a more prominent location.”
The company has been showing new licences for US customers including PlayStation, Assassin’s Creed, Space Invaders and Fender. At the same time, it has extended its Nintendo offering to include NES and SNES, alongside its Game Boy range.
The showing in New York follows on from a successful Spring Fair for Paladone, where it unveiled a number of new lines to the UK gift trade.
