Paddington takes a trip with Butlin’s

Copyrights reveals new partnership, Paddington at the Seaside, due to launch in February 2019.

It continues to be a busy anniversary year for Paddington as Copyrights reveals a new partnership with Butlin’s, which we will see the character take to the stage in a new adventure.

Paddington at the Seaside will launch in February 2019 across the three Butlin’s seaside resorts – Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness. The partnership will also provide opportunities for fans to meet Paddington and have their photo taken with the character.

“It’s a great honour for us to have such a well-travelled and famous bear as Paddington coming to stay with us,” said Mile Godolphin, head of entertainment at Butlin’s. “He’ll definitely get a very warm welcome, and our chefs will make sure we have a good supply of marmalade sandwiches… I’m sure our guests will be thrilled to meet him next year.”

Polly Emery, svp brand and international licensing at Copyrights, added: “We are really looking forward to working with Butlins on this exciting new partnership for Paddington. The show will tell a great new Paddington story that will appeal to both parents and children alike.”
