OOKS heads into apps and animated shorts

Suite of five apps and a new animated short series launches for property.

Following on from the success of the STEM app, OOKs: What’s that rumbling?, Zulleon has launched a suite of five OOKS apps and a new animated short series.

Both the apps and the animated shorts showcase the wealth of characters and locations in the ‘OOKiverse’, further expanding the range of personalised digital and real life play experiences.

The new apps include OOKS Rush, Colouring OOKs (aimed at younger children), OOKS Toys Box and a Match 3 OOKsome game.

Meanwhile 22x 90-second animated shorts are available on YouTube and, in the coming weeks, on Amazon Prime Video. New shorts will be launched each month, with further broadcast announcements due to be made shortly on new launches across global streaming and video on demand platforms.

OOKS has been growing at a healthy rate and already exceeds over 85,000 fans on Popjam.

“We are delighted to be rolling out and bringing to our highly engaged audience more great OOKS content,” said Noel Donegan, ceo of Zulleon. “Our animated shorts in particular will delight our audience, introducing them to the many zany and whacky characters that inhabit The World of OOKS.”

Luz Donegan, co-ceo, added: “We have been thrilled by the fact that our first app has been downloaded in over 110 countries and existing online content viewed by an audience of over one million.

“Our new suite of apps and animated shorts will allow us to build on this incredible traction putting us firmly on track to have over eight million OOKS created by year end. As you would expect we are now involved in conversations with highly engaged potential broadcast and licensing partners to ensure a full pipeline of activity and product launches into 2020. These are exciting times in the World of OOKS.”

The licensing programme for OOKS is being handled by Weird Lime.
