Olive Oyl takes to the catwalk with Moschino

King Features Syndicate has revealed the popular Olive Oyl character recently made her return to the catwalk in Moschino’s prestigious spring/summer 2025 collection.

The Olive Oyl and Popeye-inspired garments are slated to arrive in stores in March 2025.

The spring/summer 2025 Moschino collection was presented on the catwalk on 19 September, with Adrian Appiolaza, the new creative director of Moschino, interpreted some of Franco Moschino’s most iconic signature themes in a more contemporary updated manner.

“After decades of partnership with Moschino we are thrilled to see Olive Oyl and Popeye once again gracing the runway in this fun and optimistic tribute to one of the most influential founders of fashion,” commented Carla Silva, senior vice president/general manager and global head of licensing at King Features. “Because of her confident, independent spirit, Olive Oyl has become a muse to fashion designers around the world.”

The deal – negotiated by Premium Licensing, King’s Italian agent – is the latest high profile collection starring Olive Oyl, following on from a successful skincare as make-up line from Rude Cosmetics which debuted this past summer. Other high fashion and streetwear partners include Moncler, Beaster, Jaspal and ICEBERG among others.
