Now Revell takes flight with Super Wings

Licensee will create construction toys for an international launch for preschool brand.

Revell has become the latest licensee to sign up for Alpha Group’s preschool brand Super Wings.

The company will create a line of construction toys starring the main characters – Jett and Donnie.

The launch is planned for autumn and, in addition to German-speaking territories, the deal covers the rest of Europe, the UK and the MENA region, as well as South Africa, Russia, Israel and Turkey.

The deal was secured by licensing agent m4e.

Andreas Bittlinger, director of marketing at Revell GmbH, said: “Super Wings is an action-packed preschool series with lovingly designed characters which fit perfectly to our Junior Kit product line.

“We’re excited to translate the main characters into constructional toys. Particularly important to us was that our products allow a transformation from aircraft to robot – just like the kids know it from the TV series.”

Antoine Erligmann, vp TV and licensing at Alpha Group, added: “We are delighted to be working with Revell as their products are known for their high play value, creativity and innovation. We are confident that the new Super Wings products will delight fans internationally.”
