Now Dreamtex takes flight with Super Wings

Deal coincides with opening of home textile specialist’s new showroom.

Home textiles specialist Dreamtex has become the latest licensee to come on board for preschool brand, Super Wings.

The new collection for the Alpha Animation & Toys property will include bedlinen, printed towels, shaped cushions and fleece blankets, as well as a range of coordinating wall décor.

Products will launch from November.

“Super Wings is an exciting new series in the edutainment genre and we believe there is a fantastic opportunity in the market for this new vehicle-based franchise,” said Andrew Downie, commercial director at Dreamtex. “It’s the perfect character for us to create bright and colourful designs for preschoolers.”

The deal was agreed with Rockpool Licensing’s Vickie O’Malley on a recent visit to Dreamtex where she officially opened the licensee’s new showroom (pictured).

“We’re so proud to have Dreamtex on board for Super Wings,” Vickie commented. “They’ve already developed some really fun designs tapping into our strong themes of world travel. They’ll look fabulous in Dreamtex’ new showroom. On a personal note, getting to cut a ribbon was a life goal ticked!”

Andrew concluded: “The showroom has been something of a labour of love and signifies our commitment to the solid growth Dreamtex is currently experiencing.”
