ITV Studios Global Entertainment has secured a partnership with British food company Bernard Matthews, expanding the FMCG category for Thunderbirds Are Go. Marking Bernard Matthew’s first ever licensed range, the Thunderbirds Are Go turkey shape pack will launch at Asda this month, with other retailers to follow.
Meanwhile, ITVS GE has named the first licensing partners for the Oddbods brand. Bonnier, Cooneen, Misirli, Kids@Play, Whitehouse Leisure and Moonpig are all on board.
20th Century Fox Consumer Products has revealed a number of licensing deals for the Ice Age franchise. An extensive promotion with Chipita is running until spring 2017 across 18 markets in Central and Eastern Europe, while Italian supermarket chain Esselunga has chosen the Ice Age brand to be part of its annual Community Program for Schools. Meanwhile, Les Carroz – one of the most popular family ski resorts in the Alps – will see Ice Age entertain families during the winter 2016/17 ski season.
Rocket Licensing has secured the licensing rights to adult lifestyle and fitness brand, Gold’s Gym. The agent is now looking for partners in categories including sports and ath-leisurewear, fashion apparel, fitness equipment, accessories, publishing, food and drink and health supplements. Gold’s Gym facilities across the country also have retail space to offer official merchandise to visitors.
Silvergate Media has signed up Rainbow Designs as the plush and toy licensee for TV Peter Rabbit, its animated TV series for preschoolers.
