Luxury lingerie brand Coco der Mer is to launch a Fifty Shades Darker lingerie collection. The deal was secured by Caroline Mickler Ltd, with the range aiming to capture the ‘inner goddess’ of the books’ Anastasia Steele. The collection will launch this autumn, in advance of the film which is due to release globally on Valentine’s Day in 2017.

Brazilian footwear brand Havaianas has launched a collection of flip flops featuring Popeye, Olive Oyl and Bluto. The first design went on sale in Havaianas stores across Brazil as a special project to celebrate Valentine’s Day (June 12 in Brazil). The collection includes three styles, one for women and two unisex, and was promoted through dedicated retail displays. Following the success, the current Havaianas collection features three new designs in unisex sizes, available in brand stores across the globe.

Crayola is marking its centenary milestone this summer with a special anniversary bus tour around the UK. The tour will run from August 24 to September 3, visiting a selection of Toys R Us, Smyths and Hobbycraft stores across the UK. Consumers will be entertained by Pip and Tip, the Crayola character performers, while inside the bus there will be a host of colouring stations, interactive themed play areas and the chance to play the new Crayola Games.

Rococo Chocolates has created a special range of artisan bars to mark the Roald Dahl 100 festivities. The bars have been inspired by titles including Fantastic Mr Fox, George’s Marvellous Medicine, James and the Giant Peach, Matilda, The Twits, The BFG and The Witches.

Born Licensing has signed a deal with Subaru Australia which sees iconic action figure G.I Joe star in the car distributor’s latest TV ad campaign. The ad encourages viewers to ‘do something out of the box’ and features G.I Joe coming to life and taking a road trip with his ‘human’ family to the park, exploring all the things an action figure dreams of. A number of short product videos will also star G.I Joe, highlighting features of the Subaru Levorg, such as EyeSight obstacle detection.

A new preschool app based on the Puffin Rock brand has launched, encouraging children to experiment with music, rhythm and sound. Puffin Rock Music features the characters, locations and music from the animation.

Golden Bear has scooped double gold at the Lovedbyparents Awards. The company’s Run-along Fun Sounds Twirlywoos took gold in the Best Doll or Soft Toy category, while Justin’s House Play-set won gold in the Best Interactive Toy 3-6 category.

The Pokémon animated teaser trailer has launched with a new trading card game expansion. Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel debuts later this year in some North American and European markets. The new TCG expansion, meanwhile, is entitled XY – Steam Siege.
