Including eOne’s new Ben & Holly fundraising initiative for Cancer Research UK Kids & Teens.

eOne has partnered with Cancer Research UK Kids & Teens for a new fundraising campaign this spring and summer. The partnership will see nurseries, preschools and primary schools across the UK sign up to Ben & Holly’s Little Explorer Challenge to raise money for the charity. The campaign will run from April to July. All participants will receive a branded pack of fundraising challenges – including a Little Kingdom Treasure Hunt, Gaston’s Games, Magical Dress Up and an Elf and Fairy Party. It will also be supported across eOne’s social media channels.

Allsorts Licensing has secured new partners for the quirky Animal Yoga brand. The collection incorporates flexible animals such as pigs, chickens, sheep, horses and wild animals to name a few. So far, product has included calendars from Brown Trout, gift books, clothing in C&A Europe and underwear in Topshop.

New Jean Paul Gaultier Popeye and Betty Boop Eaux Fraîches fragrances are due to launch in the summer, following a deal between the iconic designer, King Features and its agent in France, Biplano. Original character-based labelling designs have been created for Classique (Betty Boop) and Le Mâle (Popeye) and their classic tin can packaging.

DHX Media and Ragdoll have confirmed that CBeebies has commissioned a second series of Twirlywoos. A further 25 episodes of the preschool show will be produced for the UK broadcaster.

JCB and IglooBooks have agreed a new three-year extension to their partnership, following unit sales exceeding one million. The deal will see 11 new launches by Igloo in 2016 including activity, touch and feel, sound book and picture flats product, built around the My First JCB machines.

A new batch of licensees have been confirmed by Word of Web and Fluid World for Pusheen. Hype Associates is planning an initial range of 12-20 greeting cards for launch later this month; Gemma will launch standalone cards and miscellaneous occasion captions and gift wrap; Blueprint Collections is planning a wide range of stationery; Bluw will unveil a line of gifts for autumn/winter; and Kinnerton is planning confectionery for spring 2017.

My Little Pony has taken inspiration from Game of Thrones in the new teaser trailer for the sixth season of Friendship is Magic. The new series debuts on Discovery Family in the US on Saturday March 26.

Super Hero High is due to make its debut on Boomerang in the US on Saturday March 19. The new animated special features the line-up of female Super Heroes from DC Super Hero Girls, the new comic universe from Warner Bros. Consumer Products, DC Entertainment, Warner Bros. Animation and Mattel.

Studio 100 International is teaming up with Lidl Slovak for a new Maya the Bee initiative. The deal will see Maya-themed playgrounds built by Lidl in cities with at least one of its stores. In addition, Lidl will also organise several Maya loyalty programmes to be introduced in the future.

Hoho Rights has secured new international TV and SVOD sales for Cloudbabies and Everybody Loves a Moose. Cloudbabies has been acquired by ETV in South Africa and Stellar Entertainment in Australia for its in-flight services on Jester Airways. In Poland, AMC has picked up the show for children’s channel Jim Jam, while TVN has secured the SVOD rights. Meanwhile, Dubai-based MBC has acquired animated comedy series Everybody Loves a Moose for its channels broadcasting across the Middle East and North Africa.

Maurizio Distefano Licensing has added a trio of new licensees to the Masha and the Bear programme. Swiss Eyewear Group will develop a line of sunglasses; Acqua Sant’Anna will produce fruit juices, iced decaffeinated tea and water; while PreGel will offer Italian ice cream stores a range of products.

Meanwhile, Maurizio Distefano Licensing has also added a raft of licensees to the Angry Birds programme in Italy. Admiranda, Jaxo Tirabasso, Joker, Mondo and Sicem are all now on board in the territory.
