Bulldog Licensing has promoted Sole Puerto to the position of creative services manager. Previously creative services executive, Sole has been with Bulldog for almost two years and, in that time, has helped to build the status of brands such as Shopkins, Plants vs Zombies, Garfield, Shoot and Yo-Kai Watch.

Coolabi has secured a deal with Ty UK for a new range of gift plush for The Clangers. The range will be distributed in selected retailers in the UK and Ireland from the spring. Valerie Fry, director of licensing at Coolabi, said: “We are delighted to be developing a range of gift plush with Ty, which will complement the master toy range from Character Options. Ty’s reputation and experience speaks for itself, so we are delighted to announce them as our partner.”

eOne has appointed Just Play as the global master toy partner for its new preschool series, PJ Masks. The company will launch a range of action figures, play-sets, vehicles, plush, dress-up and role-play. The collection will arrive in the US first this autumn, followed by an international roll out in 2017.

Cartamundi has confirmed the launch of the Shuffle Subbuteo card game, licensed by Hasbro. Arriving this month, the card game allows players to pass, tackle and beat the goalie, just like in the classic table-top game. It also comes with a free Shuffle Subbuteo app to add a digital twist to gameplay.

Ecommerce platform Spreadshirt has teamed with Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe to produce merchandise for franchises such as Pac-Man, Tekken, GALAGA and Tales of. Products for fans to choose from include t-shirts, hoodies, sportswear and accessories such as mugs, phone cases, bags, posters and canvases.

Maurizio Distefano Licensing has revealed the first licence agreements for Angry Birds in the Italian market. So far, partners signed up include Accademia, WorldCart, Perletti, Multiprint, Modecor, Preziosi Food, Grani & Partners and Pengo.
