Ubisoft and Paladone have unveiled a new range of Assassin’s Creed merchandise. The collection includes a Gauntlet Mug, Travel Mug and Chrome Mug, while there will also be an Assassin’s Creed mirror, Infinity Light, set of coasters, notebook and a multi tool.
Amazon vp Nicholas Denissen is to discuss the evolving retail landscape and customer expectations when he takes part in this year’s opening keynote at Licensing Expo. Nicholas will take to the stage on Tuesday May 22 (from 8am-9am) with other industry leaders in a panel session called Great Expectations: Pace, Selection, Convenience and the Customer. Licensing Expo takes place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center from May 22-24.
Winning Moves has teamed up with Personalised Products to launch MyTopTrumps.com, a site where consumes can personalise their own packs of Top Trumps. The website features a wide array of designs for occasions ranging from stag dos and weddings, corporate team building days and grass roots sports team events. Consumers can customise the photos, biographies and statistics for each of the 30 cards in the pack.
The emoji company has once again enforced its trademark rights against infringers in Asia. It recently successfully obtained interlocutory injunction against Emoji Hong Kong Limited in the EU for the unauthorised use of its emoji and emoji-family marks. The court issued an injunction prohibiting Emoji Hong Kong Limited from directly or indirectly advertising, offering and/or bringing into circulation any products under the designation of ’emoji’ for which the emoji company holds trademark registrations.
eOne has appointed Alpha Group as the master toy partner for PJ Masks in China. The company will launch a core range of vehicles, figurines, play-sets and role-play items from the summer.
Epic Rights and Perryscope Productions have teamed with Authentic Hendrix to launch a global retail programme for the brand, inspired by the unique style of Jimi Hendrix. Set to be unveiled at Licensing Expo, the programme will include fashion apparel, headwear, footwear, tops, figures, wall art, accessories, jewellery, home décor, digital products and collectables. There will also be never-before-licensed products from a wealth of material handed down from Authentic Hendrix and Experience Hendrix.
Vogue Living has debuted new furniture collections at the home furnishings industry trade show High Point Market. The Mayfair and Wiltshire collections have been created with Dorya.
Mondo TV Iberoamerica announced a major new project at MIPTV this week. The company is to produce a film – for the first time in the history of Mondo TV. It will be based on Heidi Bienvenida, Mondo TV’s live action comedy drama for teens.
Planeta Junior has secured a deal with Amazon Spain, which will see Miraculous – Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir receive its first cross category store on the Amazon website.
