Parragon Books is to launch a new line of L.O.L Surprise titles from spring. Lines will include L.O.L Surprise Cute n Fierce colouring and activity book, Cute Rebel activity book, L.O.L Surprise Collector’s Guide, L.O.L Surprise Outrageous colouring book, Carry On Case, Happy Tin and L.O.L Surprise Stick and Style dress-up book. This marks Parragon’s second licensing agreement with MGA Entertainment – the company already publishes a selection of Num Noms products.

Wicked Cool Toys will unveil its new Pokémon product line at the upcoming toy fairs in London, Germany and New York. The company will showcase action figures, plush, role-play items and other toys based on the animated series, expected to launch in the autumn.

Caroline Mickler Ltd – which manages the UK licensing programme for Moomin – has revealed that TruffleShuffle is to sell an extensive line of apparel and gifts for the brand. The range will include adult apparel and gifting such as tote bags, wash bags and pin badges.

DHX Brands is teaming up with National Day Nurseries Association in the UK to create Magical Memories, a national campaign highlighting the social and emotional benefits that In the Night Garden provides for children. The campaign will reach 6,000 nurseries and some 200,000 children, aged one to three, along with their parents and early year’s practitioners across the UK and Northern Ireland. Ir runs until February 3, 2018.

Specialist giftware company Temple Island Collection added over ten new products to its Alice Tait London giftware range at Top Drawer earlier this week. The new lines include bags, notebooks, a travel mug, coasters, a charm bracelet and an umbrella.

Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products and Wise Toys have inked a new multi-property deal (excluding US territories) for three of Wise Toys’ smart toy lines. These are Wise Pet, an Augmented Reality colouring and activity book and an AR Activity Box Set. The first products are expected to hit shelves in Q1.

Discovery Consumer Products has extended its partnership with Macy’s on Say Yes to the Prom. New additions to the line will be unveiled in February and were inspired by TLC’s annual Say Yes to the Prom philanthropic initiative.

Condé Nast has secured a deal with Edge Consumer Brands to develop Epicurious-branded microwaves and home refrigeration products.
