Ink Global has confirmed that the first season of Masha and the Bear will hit UK screens in the run up to Christmas – launching on Tiny Pop. The free to air channel is the latest broadcaster to air the show, joining Netflix, Cartoonito and Boomerang in the UK. The news will also boost the licensing programme which features a number of partners across key categories, including Simba as master toy.
National Geographic has confirmed a new DTR with Israel’s leading outdoor retailer Rikushet. The new deal forms part of the group’s revitalised CP and licensing strategy within Europe and Africa. Brokered by IMG, the deal will see Rikushet develop a range of National Geographic branded outdoor products. These will launch in the retailer’s 55 Israel stores and online from the beginning of 2018. Products will include men’s and women’s apparel and accessories, travel accessories and equipment such as tents, sleeping bags, hiking poles and thermos flasks.
Game of Thrones star Iain Glen is to play Santa in the festive special of Nella the Princess Knight. Titled The Knight Before Christmas, the episode airs on Friday December 15 at 4.30pm on Nick Jr.
Roblox has boosted its executive team as it prepares to double employee headcount in the next year in response to massive growth. The new team tasked with scaling up the company includes Jennifer Hedding as chief people officer, Daniel Williams as vp of corporate and production engineering and Matt Kaufman as vp of product for platform at Roblox.

Toy company TCG is to launch a new line of licensed games and puzzles based on the Miffy brand. The new collection is due to arrive in the US in the spring.
YouTube star LaurDIY – otherwise known as Lauren Riihimaki – has sealed a deal with Incipio to launch mobile device accessories for smartphones, tablets and laptops. The debut collection of tech products will arrive in spring 2018. The deal was secured by The Brand Liaison.
Cartoon Network’s OK K.O! Let’s Be Heroes is levelling up for a second season due to premiere in 2018. An upcoming console game has also been developed in tandem with the series.
