Cartoon Network has announced the two celebrities joining the line-up of voice talent for The Powerpuff Girls. Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon and platinum-selling Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram will star as the voice of Bliss – the fourth Powerpuff Girl – in the UK and Middle East respectively.
Evolution USA has appointed Lisle Licensing as the UK and Eire sub-agent for hit Netflix series, NARCOS.
Coolabi Group’s Scream Street has taken home the prize for Best Animated Series at the 2017 El Chupete Awards. This marks the second consecutive year that Coolabi has picked up the award, winning with Clangers in 2016.
Toy and consumer products company ZURU is to launch a collection of Marvel-inspired Fidget Cubes. The range – created by Antsy Labs – will see the Cubes adorned with stylised faces of characters including Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man and Spider-Man.
ZAG’s new boys brand – Zak Storm – has launched in the US on Netflix. The debut of the new show coincided with Bandai releasing its toy line exclusively with Amazon, while a mobile adventure is also available through Apple’s App Store, Google Play and Kindle Fire. The show currently airs on POP in the UK, where it is a top five title for 2017.
Pioneer Balloon Company has confirmed that it has acquired Northstar’s balloon business.
Rainbow has reported that the second season of animated series Regal Academy will premiere on November 5 on Nick Jr in the US.
The user generated content platform Roblox is set to become the first platform to allow for seamless play on every device – from Xbox to mobile to PC to VR with the arrival of its Xbox cross-platform expansion. The expansion allows users to play the same game across all devices – all playing together at the same time.
Game developer Sproing is releasing a new KISS digital mobile game. Entitled KISS Rock City, the game has been developed in close collaboration with the band and Epic Rights, KISS’ exclusive global licensing agent.
