eOne has outlined a number of developments for Peppa Pig and PJ Masks which will see them expand across Nordic territories. Plus Licens represents the CP programmes for both brands and will introduce new categories across the region in 2017. New categories for Peppa Pig will include puzzles and games, plastic bead sets and nightlight, while new publishing is also due to arrive. Meanwhile, new broadcast partner Fox will begin airing PJ Masks from September in Finland. The first product line is due for autumn/winter, with partners covering apparel and home textiles, puzzles, back to school, partyware, tableware, costumes and nightlights. A publishing deal is also currently being negotiated for books and a standalone magazine.
The licensed division of apparel specialist Poeticgem – Poetic Brands – will now operate as a single company, concentrating solely on licensed products. Headed up by Elliott Matthews, the division will remain a part of parent group PDS Multinational.
RHS is readying for its biggest showing yet at garden and outdoor living trade show GLEE. The RHS stand at the show – which runs from September 11-13 at the Birmingham NEC – will feature merchandise from 15 licensees and endorsed partners in the home and gifting sectors, as well as the gardening category. In addition, more than ten RHS licensees and partners will also have their own stands at the show. This marks the first time that RHS has promoted its entire licensing programme at GLEE.
Mondo TV has announced the arrival in Italy of the first season of 3D CGI animation, Robot Trains. The show will air daily on DeA Junior from September 4.
Warner Bros. Consumer Products has named Julia Jensen as svp of publicity and communications. Julia joins the US team from WWE where she was vp brand.
