News extra: More licensing news from this week

Source rounds up more news from the licensing industry across the globe from the week.

Licensing Matters Global has secured significant agreements for Perfetti Van Melle’s Fruit-tella. With a focus on the UK and Benelux markets, LMG has delivered partners which will extend the brand’s reach to children, tweens, teens and young adults. Amber House has developed a range of ‘sweet treats for lips’ with the fruity lip balms available at Primark and having already sold more than 300,000 units; Imagine8 has launched a range with Claire’s Accessories; and Crackerjack UK will develop a line of bath fizzers and sponge gift sets for Q4 2023.

Hasbro has teamed up with sustainable tableware specialist bamboo bamboo to launch a limited edition range of Peppa Pig children’s tableware. “We are thrilled to collaborate with bamboo bamboo on their first ever licensing deal and delighted that they have chosen to do this with a globally recognised brand like Peppa Pig,” commented Leonie Goodman, UK category manager, licensing consumer products at Hasbro.

Following the successful launch of its adaptive dress-up, Rubies has added the Green Collection. The costumes in the range have been specially crafted with the environment in mind and are manufactured with 100% responsibly sourced materials and recycled polyester from plastic bottles. Costumes will be available in a wide range of children’s sizes from toddler to 9-10 years and will include characters such as Iron Man, The Hulk, Captain America and Star Wars’ Stormtrooper and Darth Vader.
