New EMEA-focused licensing agency, Boutique Licensing Agency, has hit the ground running with its first representation, Mr Men Little Miss. The agency – founded by Maria Maranesi and Marie-Noelle Lutte, both of whom have significant heritage in the licensing industry – will be looking to expand the classic brand, which is celebrating 50 years in 2021, into new areas beyond its key regional markets of the UK and France. BLA will be focusing on Iberia, GSA, Benelux, Nordic, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, the Baltics, Russia and the CIS for all product categories. The company will also manage Latin American markets for publishing rights only.

The RHS has revealed the launch by Ulster Weavers of a new licensed range of kitchen textiles. Called the Spring Floral collection, it offers a wide range of textiles and accessories including a cotton apron, printed tea towels, quilted oven gloves and mitts, a tea cosy and accompanying mug, plus a selection of reusable shoppers and PVC bags, as well as a packable roll-up bag.

Novel Entertainment has secured a new global deal for its Horrid Henry brand with dedicated kids’ audio platform, Yoto. Under the partnership, five initial Horrid Henry audio titles will launch as cards for the Yoto Player in June.

Tony Roma’s licensee, Ruprecht Company is expanding its retail presence internationally through its latest deal with American Trading International. The deal will allow fans of the brand in Asia and other territories to enjoy the ‘secret sauces’ behind Tony Roma’s famous ribs and BBQ meats. The deal was brokered by Broad Street Licensing Group.
