The Rolling Stones will officially open a world-first flagship store in London on September 9. RS No.9 Carnaby will launch in the heart of London’s Soho on Carnaby Street and has been created in partnership with Bravado. It will feature all the hallmarks of the iconic band and include exclusive new fashion and merchandise under the RS No.9 Carnaby brand. Collections will include glassware engraved with the Rolling Stones tongue; chairs and scarves; plus raincoats and hats. The store will also introduce Stones Red, the official colour from Pantone, with a special collection launching.

emoji company GmbH has taken legal action against the unauthorised use of the infringingly similar trademark, Emoji King. Emoji is a trademark registered by the emoji company for a multitude of goods and services, and may only be used with its approval – with or without any additional term or designation. The emoji company owns the emoji trademark in more than 100 countries encompassing goods and services in up to 35 classes. The court stated that the use of Emoji King infringes emoji company’s trademark rights and, therefore, prohibited several companies – one of which is Emoji King Industrial Co. – from directly or indirectly advertising, offering and/or bringing into circulation of any product for which the emoji company holds trademark registrations.

Edutainment Licensing has revealed that Flossy and Jim has partnered with Kennedy Publishing for 100% Wow. The magazine is aimed at 9-12 year old girls, with its content designed to bridge the gap between childhood interests and teen culture. A Flossy and Jim ‘you are out of this world’ poster will feature in issue six, which goes on sale from August 27 to October 1 in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Asda.

Endemol Shine Brazil has confirmed a partnership with Brazil’s national ecommerce platform, Chico Rei for Simon’s Cat. The agreement will see the launch of a special line of t-shirts, mugs, notebooks, mobile phone cases and posters, with exclusive prints of Simon Tofield’s character.

WildBrain Spark has been appointed by MarcoPolo Learning to manage the educational media company’s channel and content on YouTube on an exclusive worldwide basis. It will support and bolster the distribution of MarcoPolo Learning’s content include its flagship CG-animated series, The Polos, across the official MarcoPolo channel and on WildBrain Spark’s hub channels on YouTube.

Sesame Workshop has teamed up with Sourcebooks on a new title to help parents allay any fears which young children might have about the new routines and safety measures they will encounter. Heroes Wear Masks: Elmo’s Super Adventure is a new picture book which aims to help children manage any back to school or nursery anxiety and understand the changes they’ll face in their classrooms and playrooms. Children will see Elmo getting ready to head back to school, with some changes to his morning routine. Things are a little different when Elmo gets to school too: their Sesame Street friend will adopt – and adapt to – some of the safety measures kids will experience themselves, including wearing a mask, feeling anxious about leaving home, social distancing, temperature checks and washing hands frequently.

Owens Corning is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its relationship with The Pink Panther. The company began its partnership with the character to promote sales of Pink Fiberglas insulation on August 15, 1980. Since that time, the suave cartoon character has starred in countless TV, print and digital media promotions for the company and its businesses. Pink Panther also adorns the vehicles of hundreds of select contractors, distributors and builders working with the company’s Roofing and Insulation businesses.
