The emoji company has added pop culture collectable vinyl specialist Youtooz to its roster of licensing partners. A range of limited edition emoji collectables will launch in the summer at youtooz.com. Launching with six custom emoji drops, the collection features the brand’s most popular and recognisable icons. The deal was brokered by Retail Monster, the brand’s US licensing agent.
A selection of Burger King restaurants in the US are partnering with the Crayola brand to offer children a series of six colourful premium toys to help encourage creativity. Each toy will feature a reusable 2oz packet of Crayola dough and an interactive plastic toy, which will double as a storage solution. Each toy – which will be available with the King Jr kids’ meal at participating restaurants – was designed around a wild animal theme.
Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, Universal Games and Digital Platforms and Slightly Mad Studios have revealed the first gameplay showcasing the single play story mode of Fast & Furious Crossroads, a team-based vehicular-heist action game set in the F&F universe. The game is due to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on August 7, 2020.
Rainbow Group has expanded the licensing programme for 44 Cats, adding Forever Clever for games and novelty toys in the US and Canada. The deal was brokered by The Joester Loria Group and Branding Streams. The range will include action games, board games, card games and memory games, along with novelty toys and play tents. The company joins the likes of Bandai, HarperCollins, Franco, Sakar and Accessory Innovations in the licensing programme for the preschool show, which is also now available on Netflix.
MHS Licensing & Consulting is now representing new fashion brand, Fine Frenchie. Created by Valeria Krasavina, the French bulldog character has a love of all things ‘super glamorous’ and was originally launched in 2018. MHS believes the property has strong licensing potential across a host of merchandise categories. Leanin’ Tree will be introducing a line of greeting cards in early 2021, with other categories being explored including fabric, home textiles, bath emsembles, stationery, wall décor and gifts among others.
Winchester Mystery House has appointed Licensing Works as its global licensing agent. The beautiful but bizarre mansion built by Sarah Pardee Winchester, the heiress of the Winchester Repeating Arms fortune has also launched a digital immersive 360-degree tour experience. New licensing partners in gaming, publishing, mobile apps, puzzles, home décor and gourmet foods will help lay the groundwork for a worldwide celebration of the 100th anniversary of the first visitors to the estate in 2023.
