Boots has become the new exclusive franchisee of the Mothercare brand for the UK. The deal will see Boots stocking Mothercare-branded clothing and home and travel products (including pushchairs and car seats). The product range will launch in larger Boots stores across the UK including a number of Mothercare shop in shops over time, as well as online. A limited range of Mothercare product will be available to buy online from mid 2020, while it is expected that a wider product offer will be available in Boots stores from late summer 2020.

Danilo has revealed its top officially licensed calendars for 2020. Top of the pile was the calendar for Liverpool Football Club, closely followed by Stranger Things (number two), Korean boy band BTS (number three), Friends (number four) and Frozen 2 (number five). The remainder of the top ten was made up of Manchester United, Harry Potter, Cliff Richard, Peaky Blinders and Little Mix.

House of Turnowsky has teamed with Art Cushions (the new trading name for WeLoveCushions) for a new collaboration. The partnership will see House of Turnowsky’s designs for luxury paper designs and original gifts being translated to six collections (Bellissima, Echo, FOG, Garden of Eden, Perfect Day and Paradise Garden) across a range of cushions, lampshades and deckchairs. It will be the biggest album of designs that Art Cushions has launched to date, with over 50 patterns available.

An extensive Peanuts fashion collection has debuted at Riva stores in the Middle East, following a deal brokered by WildBrain CPLG on behalf of Peanuts Worldwide. The 50+ piece collection spans kids and ladieswear, with Snoopy and the gang featuring across daywear, outerwear, footwear and accessories.

The RHS has revealed the contents of the first Hotter-RHS collection of footwear. For the Spring Florals collection, Hotter has created two exclusive patterns using a selection of the RHS’ extensive library of 25,000 botanical art images. These will feature as accents on three of its bestselling products – Chase, Tropic and Shake.

Disney has secured the broadcast rights to eOne’s Cupcake & Dino across South East Asia.

WildBrain Spark has appointed Clare Bennett to the newly created role of head of paid media. Clare will work with the company’s partners to maximise the effectiveness of its paid media across digital platforms, in addition to supporting the marketing and commercial teams in building WildBrain Spark’s own brands and IP.

CP Coastal – the LA-based design studio specialising in coastal themed designs – has released a four-piece Christmas collection. The brand – which combines a mix of modern, impressionist and vintage styles with bold colours and classic coastal living and nautical themes.
