Including Thunderbirds Are Go activation set for Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts.

ITV Studios Global Entertainment has secured a partnership between Thunderbirds Are Go and Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts. The promotional activation will run over several weekends from September 14 through to October 20 at all three Gulliver’s locations in Warrington, Milton Keynes and Matlock Bath. The FAB Thunderbird Weekends will see themeing throughout the resorts. Visitors will receive a mission brief on arrival and will need to complete special in-park challenges as recruits for International Rescue. Other activities will include photo opportunities with a model of Thunderbird 1 and meet and greets with the Virgil Tracy costume character. FAB Thunderbird Sleepovers will also be running during the period.

Independent distillery Harrogate Tipple is to launch a new officially licensed spirits range inspired by Downton Abbey. The official gin and whisky will be produced in limited batches for sale in the UK and US ahead of the upcoming movie. Master distiller Tom Nichol – which part owns Harrogate Tipple – boasts a North Yorkshire distillery which is located between Ripon, York and Harrogate, home to the fictional Downton Abbey estate. The deal was brokered by Asgard Media.

The collectable Squishmallows plush gift line is set to transition from a plush brand into a licensed character brand via a newly launched licensing programme. Kellytoy has confirmed Evolution USA will manage the global licensing initiative and will showcase the property at BLE in October. New style guides will be developed, as well as short-form content, mobile games, influencer programmes, celebrity seeding and other social media activations.

CPLG Pullman has promoted Anna Artyukhova to the position of md for Russia and CIS. Anna will lead the Moscow-based team in its strategy to drive growth for clients and expand the company’s base of entertainment and classic brands. She will continue to report in to Slawomir Ekiert, md CEE and Nordics at CPLG.
