LMI has been appointed by Bricklive as its global licensing partner. Bricklive creates unique interactive and educational experiences through physical play, with events across the UK, US, South Korea and China among others. It has recently secured a deal with Nickelodeon to create a PAW Patrol event.

HEAD Sport has signed a deal with Garsport for a collection of outdoor and trekking footwear using the licensed San Marco trademark. A big name brand in the 1990s, the relaunch of San Marco will initially target the Italian market before rolling out to other European markets. First products will launch for autumn/winter 2019, while new 2020 programmes and developments will be presented at the Outdoor by ISPO show in Munich from June 30 to July 3.

Swiss retailer Coop is continuing with its third emoji brand campaign this summer. An outdoor product assortment will include a lunch box, drinking bottle, large and small microfibre towel, bath towel and a picnic basket. In addition, for every 10 Swiss francs spent, each customer will receive a collectable stamp – after collecting 40 stamps, these can be redeemed for an emoji branded summer gadget.

Licensing agency Rights & Brands and its sales team at Bulls Licensing in Stockholm has teamed with Thomas Cook and the holiday company’s mascots – Lollo & Bernie – to create a classic children’s character licensing programme. The programme will focus on the Nordics, UK and continental Europe, with the first steps being to appoint a master publisher, plush and master toy licensee, as well as meet and greets, pop-up shops and event concepts.

Warner Music Group’s Arts Music division has signed a multi-season deal with Cloudco Entertainment (formerly known as American Greetings Entertainment) to release original music from the Holly Hobbie live action series. The first single – Be the Change (Theme Song) – is available now, with further tracks to follow throughout the summer.

Mondo TV has secured a new YooHoo balloons deal with Grabo for Italy and Russia. Based on YooHoo to the Rescue, the helium balloons will launch in Italy from this September and in Russia no later than spring 2020.

US-based meal kit company, Dinnerly has teamed with King Features Syndicate to create signature recipes inspired by Popeye in time for National Fresh Spinach Day. The Dinnerly x Popeye collaboration includes three recipes – each including fresh spinach, obviously – and will feature characters including Popeye, Wimpy and Olive Oyl.
