New Matthew Williamson line to debut at Spring Fair

Museums & Galleries teams with designer for new range of cards and gift stationery.

Museums & Galleries has joined forces with British fashion designer Matthew Williamson for a new collection of branded cards and gift stationery.

The range – which will make its debut at Spring Fair in February 2016 – features a gold foil accent on many of the gift stationery products and branding.

It showcases patterns from Matthew’s current collections and extensive print archive.

In addition, the range also includes one new print from his forthcoming 2016 collection.

Items available include greeting cards, notecard wallets, deluxe journals and notebooks, gift wrap (including two gold foiled designs) and gifting products such as boxes, bags and tissue.

“Working with Museums & Galleries has been a dream project for me,” Matthew Williamson commented. “We have amassed such a strong print archive over our 20-year history and it’s therefore been such a pleasure to revisit some of my favourites and re-imagine them as a luxury, yet affordable, category to our expanding lifestyle brand.”

Ben Dorney, art director at Museums & Galleries, added: “Collaborating with Matthew Williamson on a range of licensed greeting cards and gift stationery is a tremendous coup for Museums & Galleries.

“The Matthew Williamson brand offers an incredible and evolving archive of unique prints from a world-renowned British design icon, with a huge following in the world’s of fashion, social media and on the high street.

“It sits perfectly within our existing portfolio of licensed brands, complementing our key heritage licences and bringing a whole new energy and direction to our collection.”
