Newcastle United has joined forces with New Era to create a new range of headwear for the 2024/2025 season.
Newcastle is the latest Premier League club to secure a deal with New Era, following on from the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, reported SportsIndustry.biz.
The deal comes amid the club’s switch to its own in-house retail business, after ending its previous retail arrangements on 27 May. The team’s current stadium store is undergoing a ‘significant refit’ in the build up to next season, with further details to be revealed shortly.
“As we launch our own in-house retail business, our aim is to curate product ranges that our supporters will really love, and we are sure the New Era collection will be extremely popular,” commented Peter Silverstone, chief commercial officer at Newcastle United. “The launch of the club’s new ecommerce platform and temporary store marks an exciting step in our retail journey, and we thank fans for their patience and ongoing support as we strive towards a truly exceptional range of kit and merchandise delivered through best-in-class service.”
