Cartoon Network brand will premiere on CITV and ITV on Sunday May 21.
Cartoon Network is gearing up for the UK free to air launch of the new look Ben 10, with the show premiering on CITV and ITV on Sunday May 21.
The new 40×11 minute episodes currently air on Cartoon Network in the UK – the addition of the terrestrial channel will give the property a further boost, as it becomes part of the primetime line-up.
Cartoon Network EMEA is also ramping up to the roll-out of a brand-new Ben 10 merchandise line. This will be kicked off this summer by master toy partner Playmates’ new toy range.
Giochi Preziosi Group is on board as the pan-European marketing and distribution partner for the toy range and Flair will be distributing in the UK.
Graham Saltmarsh, director of licensing, UK and Nordics, Cartoon Network Enterprises EMEA, said: “With the imminent launch on CITV and ITV, we’re delighted that even more boys in the UK will soon be able to enjoy the fantastic new Ben 10 adventures.
“We’re confident that the channel’s popularity, coupled with its wide reach will undoubtedly fuel demand for Ben 10 consumer products in the UK market.”
The new Ben 10 premiered in EMEA last October and has already reached over 27 million individuals across the region.
