New additions boost Moomin Friendship range

New ceramics lines due to launch in the autumn from Arabia.

The new Moomin Friendship product family by Arabia is set to grow with a number of fresh launches this autumn.

The collection features famous motives from the book Who Will Comfort Toffle?, with Arabia’s artist Tove Slotte designing the products in keeping with the original drawings by Tove Jansson.

The first products in the collection – a serving bowl, jar with lid and pitcher – were launched in January. These are now due to be joined by a new dish and pie dish, featuring Toffle and Miffle and Snufkin respectively.

New products in the Ancestor range – a black pitcher and jar – will be available in early September, while there will also be new limited edition plates – all featuring interpretations of the original artwork.

The new plates will join the original collector’s editions which were launched in 2014 and 2015.

Finally, the final three wall tiles in Arabia’s collectable decoration tree – Hemulen, Sniff and Stinky – will also arrive in September.

The Moomins licensing programme is managed by Bulls Licensing.
