Nadiya Hussain to share her story at the B&LLAs 2020

Great British Bake Off winner, author and TV presenter will share how she is bringing her unique style to the brand licensing space.

Great British Bake Off winner, author and TV presenter, Nadiya Hussain will be sharing her story at this year’s Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards on Monday November 9.

Speaking to editor of LicensingSource.net and Licensing Source Book, Samantha Loveday, Nadiya discusses why baking is her happy place, her inspirations and how she is now building her name in the brand licensing arena.

Working with Start Licensing and with two licensed ranges already under her belt – with BlissHome, which was awarded Best Brand Licensed Homewares Product or Range for its Nadiya Hussain Make Life Colourful Range at last year’s ceremony, and Wilton Bradley – Nadiya talks about her involvement with the design of the products and why it’s so important that anything she lends her name to remains authentic.

Nadiya follows in the footsteps of Red or Dead co-founder Wayne Hemingway; LEON co-founder and ceo, John Vincent; founder and md of JoJo Maman Bébé, Laura Tenison MBE; and creator of Purple Ronnie and The Interesting Thoughts of Edward Monkton and co-creator of Happy Jackson, Giles Andreae who have all previously shared their stories and experiences at the B&LLAs.

This year’s event is taking place virtually, from 6.15pm on Monday November 9. The B&LLAs are free to attend and everyone is welcome. To register to attend, click here.

Your guests can pop in and say hi, share a drink or two with you, before and after you head to the ‘Main Stage’ (which is hosted on the same site) to watch the awards event.

While attending the awards themselves is free of charge, the cost of hosting your own Session Room is £375 (+VAT). There are also special rates for multiple rooms (2 rooms, £650; 3 rooms, £950).
