My Icon Story heads to New York City

Fast growing company secures deal with NYC & Company.

My Icon Story has secured its first licensed brand partnership outside of the UK, signing a deal with NYC & Company.

The deal with New York City’s official destination marketing organisation was brokered by CAA-GBG.

The collaboration includes an NYC & Company icon collection on myiconstory.com, joining other brands Transport for London, Natural History Museum and Love Hearts.

Customers can create a bespoke print that tells the story of ‘their’ New York City.

In addition to the icon collection, My Icon Story has produced an eclectic range of poster artworks by iconising New York City’s brand logos (NYPD, FDNY & NYC Taxi) and New York City’s five boroughs (Manhattan, Staten Island, Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx).

“New York City is famous for more than just its iconic skyline,” said Laura Lane, founder and creative director at My Icon Story. “Partnering with NYC & Company has given us the opportunity to highlight the influences of New York City’s five boroughs through thematic gifts and art.

“Whether visitor or admirer, everyone has their own version of New York City. Our new collection has a vibrant and diverse offering so anyone and everyone can recreate unique memories, experiences or perceptions of their version of New York City.”
