The agency’s commercial director gives his thoughts on the big trends for the year.
It’s now February, and there have been numerous reports on the key trends, brands, films and retailers to watch for this year.
But what does the licensing industry itself think?
We gave them the chance to gaze into their own crystal ball and tell us their views on what will be the big brands and trends making an impact on retail shelves in 2017.
Today, John Taylor, commercial director, CPLG.
“I see a great year for retro/classic brands this year – we have seen increased interest in brands or films which were strong in the 80’s and 90’s and just looking around the retail landscape currently this has already started to happen.
“I’m glad to say we have many of these in our portfolio which tick the box.
“I also predict the British & Irish Lions win 2:1 against New Zealand in the summer, which I am really looking forward to.”
