Museums & Galleries adds magnificent seven

Raft of new licensed ranges launched including TfL, Paddington and Roald Dahl.

Stationery, greeting card and gift company Museums & Galleries has further ramped up its commitment to licensing, by launching an additional seven licensed ranges, which have debuted at Spring Fair last week.

The company has launched ranges featuring Natural History Museum, British Museum, Transport for London, Miffy, Paddington, Roald Dahl and Dee Hardwick.

In addition to these new licensing agreements, the company has also considerably extended the breadth of products it is producing under existing licensed brands, most notably within its V&A and Matthew Williamson portfolios, as well as launching a new tagline, ‘Home of the finest art brands’.

As Eddie Clarke, rights and product manager for Museums & Galleries (pictured above at Spring Fair with the company’s co-owner Debbie Williams), said: “Licensing has become increasingly important for us. Since our first year in 2013 when we launched with stationery under the V&A and British Library brands our growth has reflected the evolution in the licensing arena, expanding into brands, such as Matthew Williamson and now Transport for London, but always with art at the heart.”
