Mulberry and Miffy collaborate in celebration of Year of the Rabbit

British luxury lifestyle brand, Mulberry is collaborating with Miffy on a collection celebrating the Year of the Rabbit for Lunar New Year.

The limited edition Mulberry x Miffy capsule sees the classic character curiously adventure across a series of bags and accessories.

These include keyrings, travel and tech accessories, small leather goods and iconic Mulberry bag styles.

Miffy peeks from behind envelope wallets and plays on the straps of Mulberry’s timeless Bayswater bag, as well as appearing on several new tote designs created specifically for the collection.

Mirroring Miffy’s signature minimal design and bright palette, the collaboration comes in joyful hues including Coral Orange, Lawn Green, Cornflower Blue and Chalk – marrying the bold colour block world of Miffy with Mulberry’s contemporary take on British heritage.

A campaign film also helps to bring the collaboration to life. Across the cool cityscape of contemporary Shanghai, our cheerful protagonist plays a game of hide and seek, careening through side streets and roads, up busy escalators and around markets. All the while, two avid fans follow her through the varied locations, carrying the new collaboration. The playful pursuit culminates with the two fans meeting Miffy to celebrate Lunar New Year against the backdrop of fireworks over Shanghai.

Customers will be able to experience the Mulberry x Miffy collaboration in Mulberry’s stores. Alongside the capsule, customers will also be able to fully immerse themselves in the world of Miffy, with lifestyle products ranging from soft toys to stationery.

Prices for products in the collaboration – which launched on 29 December 2022 – start at £65.
