Mr Men continues growth in baby category

New brand collaborations launched with Tobias and the Bear and My 1st Years.

The Mr Men Little Miss brand is continuing to grow in the baby category, announcing a brace of new collaborations.

The deals follow on from the collaboration with Baby Gap in February and further cement the brand as a favourite within the baby sector.

My1styears.com has partnered with Mr Men Little Miss for a range of limited edition clothing, accessories and furniture for babies and children.

The range includes white bodysuits, high tops, storage sacks, blankets and wooden furniture, all of which can be personalised with a character and name.

To launch the campaign, My 1st Years created a special video using #mrmenbeyourself which focused on how youngsters viewed themselves and others in a funny way using the Mr Men Little Miss characters.

My 1st Years marketing manager, Nicole Rhodes, commented: “We are so excited to be the exclusive partner for Mr Men and Little Miss personalised baby gifts.

“The brand is so iconic for its playful characters and personalities, and my1styears.com has quickly become a destination for the best selection of unique personalised gifts.”

In addition, British brand Tobias & the Bear has created a retro-influenced collection of prints, taking inspiration from the vintage artworks.

The clothing and bedding collection includes characters such as Mr Happy, Mr Lazy and Mr Daydream, as well as a graphic black and white comic book strip print and the sharp ‘Atishoo’ type.

“Being British, Tobias & the Bear is a perfect match to our brand; we love how the collection strikes the perfect balance between old school and modern,” said Mr Men Little Miss’ Hannah Rowlands.
