Morrisons takes its Nutmeg brand online

New website for supermarket’s clothing brand will include full range of baby and kidswear.

Morrisons has launched a new website for its Nutmeg clothing brand.

The move will make the range easily available to all customers across the country without the need to visit a Morrisons store, said the supermarket. It will include the supermarket’s full range of baby and kidswear – which includes a number of licensed character lines – plus womenswear and menswear.

According to Fashion United, the online store will be updated regularly throughout the seasons, with delivery starting at £2.97. A next day delivery option, as well as a click and collect service, will be available from all Morrisons stores in the near future.

“With customers looking to shop online, we will be able to serve more people in more parts of the UK, including those who are self-isolating,” commented Christine Bryce, Nutmeg clothing director at Morrisons. “We will be offering them access to current trends, seasonal staples and best in class products.”

The move follows the news last month that Morrisons is to open its first concept store – located in Bolsover, Derbyshire – to help drive sales of its Nutmeg clothing label, plus own brand homewares.
