Moleskine reveals The Beatles limited edition range

Notebook collection offers cover art with a distinctly ‘psychedelic’ vibe.

Moleskine is celebrating the pioneering animation techniques and pop artwork used to create Yellow Submarine, with the launch of a limited edition The Beatles notebook collection.

Launching 50 years after the release of Yellow Submarine, the collection was created under licence from the Beatle’s company, Apple Corps.

To mark the launch, Dutch paper cut artist and director Rogier Wieland has created a video inspired by Yellow Submarine and by the cover art of the Beatles notebooks.

Psychedelic 3D animations appear to pop out of the screen, while a magical submarine is made out of Moleskine notebooks.

This is the latest in a line of licensed collaborations by Moleskine. The company has also created limited edition lines this year for Batman and Toy Story.
