The Art of Marbling, Jen Montgomery, Jetty Home among roster of properties.
MHS Licensing is introducing five art brands at Surtex next week.
In addition to partnering with art brands Jen Montgomery, Jetty Home and Lovitude, the company has also added The Art of Marbling and UTURN Studios to its roster.
All five brands will now be showcased at Surtex, which runs from May 20-22 at New York’s Jacob K Javitz Convention Center.
Marty Segelbaum, president of MHS Licensing, said “We understand that finding new talent and trends is top of mind for our licensing partners at this show.
“It’s crucial that we not only have new content from our proven art brands, but more importantly new and untapped artists to offer. We’re confident these talented additions will open their eyes to fresh new ideas and potential.”
The Art of Marbling from HRJ Design Studio is an on-trend portfolio of handcrafted, proprietary Marbling patterns, ranging from simple organic ‘stone’ patterns through to more complex feather-like designs.
UTURN Studios was created by April Turner and aims to capture the pure joy of pets with cheerful and colourful imagery featuring local shelter pets.
April commented: “It warms my heart that these images will not only help each pet find their new family but will also go on to spread smiles far and wide on licensed product.”
Jen Montgomery, meanwhile, is inspired by kitsch, botanicals and happy mid-century colour palettes, while Jetty Home brand creator Emily Wood saw a need to bring a modern twist to recognised icons in the home décor world, starting with art prints.
Lovitude paintings, meanwhile, are described as ‘visual blessings’ and are primarily focused on bold florals with metallic accents.
In addition to the new brands, MHS will also be introducing fresh images from its existing portfolio of artist brands at the show.
