MGM Licensing readies virtual summit to showcase key brands

The company will highlight exclusive news and look ahead to 2022 for brands including Legally Blonde, The Addams Family and Rocky.

MGM’s Licensing Group is gearing up for its virtual licensing summit later this month, where it will reveal key plans for its portfolio of brands.

Running from 18-20 May, the company will showcase brands including Legally Blonde, The Addams Family, Rocky, Creed, Vikings: Valhall and Pink Panther among others during the summit.

In addition, MGM will discuss how it is planning to expand efforts around its sci-fi and horror portfolios, as well as how it is reimagining the MGM brand with the recent introduction of its modernised logo.

During the presentation, attendees will also get an overview of the breakout events and anniversaries that lie ahead, opportunities for collaboration and some special announcements.

“Our team is developing licensing programs that leverage MGM’s iconic portfolio and extend well beyond merchandise and branded experiences,” commented Robert Marick, evp at MGM Global Consumer Products & Experiences. “Together with our partners, we are looking to build programmes that enable fans to fully immerse themselves in the stories they love.”
