MGA’s Bratz Selfie Tour takes over retail

Consumer nationwide tour has been a key part of the relaunch of the property.

MGA Entertainment is celebrating the success of its Bratz Selfie retail tour, with the final week seeing its special Photo Booth appear in stores in Sheffield and Glasgow.

The consumer event at retail has been a key part of the relaunch of the Bratz property, kicking off in Hamleys on September 6.

Since then it has taken in retailers including Tesco, The Entertainer, Smyths, Toys R Us, Debenhams and Argos across the UK and Ireland. Locations have included Milton Keynes, Cleethorpes, Manchester, Kinsale, Blanch, Cardiff, Yate, Birmingham, Kent, London’s Oxford Street, Plymouth and Reading.

It will make its final stops in Argos, Sheffield on October 31 and Smyths in Glasgow on November 1.

The Selfie theme has been the best selling line in key retailers, with the tour looking to tap into the enthusiasm and endorse the theme. The activity aimed to build on key brand messages, encouraging participants to express themselves in any way they wanted to.

Props included pink moustachez, bunny earz, red lipz and Sasha’s bunny boo beanie hat.

Participants have also been encouraged to post their pictures on social networks, as well as the free to download Bratz app, with the hashtag #It’sGoodToBeABratz to be in with a chance of winning a host of prizes.
