Meg Hawkins launches new Signature Collection

It’s been an exciting year so far for award winning watercolour artist and homeware designer Meg Hawkins, founder of Meg Hawkins Art, which designs and produces high quality homeware and giftware featuring Meg’s distinctive artwork.

In the past 12 months, the Shropshire-based business has gone from strength to strength, with Meg recently delighted to win the Business Growth category in the national Woman Who Achieves Awards, with the judges commenting: “Meg Hawkins Art is a business that has come on in leaps and bounds with a beautiful array of creative designs that are finding markets across the world, and a licensing-led model allowing for great scalability and future growth.”

Currently, Meg’s focus is firmly on the company’s newly launched Signature Collection by Meg Hawkins spanning bath and body and home fragrancing. There are four ranges – The Coast, The Highlands, The Meadow and The Orchard – across hand wash, hand lotion, luxury hand soap, fragranced candles and reed diffusers, as well as a range of lip balms.

Meg explained: “It’s a curated and growing collection of hand lotions, soaps and home fragrance carefully designed to create a beautiful range for the home. With calm and peace at its core, every opportunity has been taken to make this collection as ethical and sustainable as possible by using recyclable eco packaging and using UK manufacturers. We have also taken every opportunity to highlight the beauty of British wildlife and nature.”

In addition, Meg confirms that, as from 22 September, the company will pass its best-selling, award winning confectionery range to the suppliers. “The Scrumptious biscuits range will be licensed by Farrahs of Harrogate, with our Chocolate range licensed by Gwynedd Confectionery. Plus, we have just completed an expansion of our product range with Nauticalia, Natural World by Meg Hawkins,” Meg commented.

Meanwhile, Meg is very much looking forward to The Licensing Awards on 13 September, as the Meg Hawkins Gift and Homewares Collection from Widdop & Co has been shortlisted in the Best Licensed Giftware Range, Home Décor, Tableware or Housewares Range category.

Established in 2015, Meg Hawkins Art started life as Meg Illustrations from Meg’s kitchen table. Since then, Meg has gone on to form licensing partnerships, and to produce her own homeware, giftware and greeting card ranges which are all sold worldwide.
