MDR Brand Management continues to support the Amy Winehouse Foundation

Following a successful first year of product launches and activites including a restrospective exhibition at the Design Museum in London, Amy Winehouse was awarded Best Licensed Brand in the Lifestyle: Art, Design, Celebrity, Fashion category at the annual Licensing International Excellence Awards in May in Las Vegas.

MDR continues to work closely with partners that celebrate and protect Amy’s legacy as one of the world’s greatest musical talents and style icons.

This month, British electronics manufacturer, Roberts is launching a bespoke Revival iStream3L Radio celebrating Amy’s love for Roberts and capturing her distinct aesthetics. The radio will be available on Roberts online, John Lewis and Amazon exclusively.

Meanwhile, Illamasqua’s part 2.0 of the Frankly Amy collaboration sees a limited edition ‘Camden Collection’ line-up of seven products including Matte Nail varnish – AMY Red; Nail tint – AMY black; Brow pencil – Soundcheck; Ultramatter lipstick – AMY red; Lip tint – AMY black; Wet liquid eyeliner – No, No, No; and Face duo pack – Double Trouble.

The make up range is inspired by the town that she loved and is a modern take on Amy’s look to appeal to the everyday consumer, as well as Amy’s dedicated fans.

“Both product launches celebrate what would have been Amy’s 39th birthday, but also highlight the touching work that the Foundation has been achieving in the last 11 years,” commented Daniel Avener, ceo at MDR Brand Management. “We are pleased that our partners continue to invest in new products that represent Amy’s iconic aesthetics and legacy.”

Mitch and Jane Winehouse continued: “There is significant demand for high quality products that reflect Amy’s iconic style. By choosing to work with carefully selected partners, we are able to ensure that proceeds from each collaboration benefit the Amy Winehouse Foundation which is the registered charity set up in Amy’s name.”
