Max Arguile opens specialist licensing consultancy

Reemsborko to focus on emerging areas such as animé, video and mobile gaming.

Former GB eye exec, Max Arguile has opened the doors of his own specialist licensing consultancy, Reemsborko.

The aim of Max’s new company is to fill a gap in the market for consultancy in new media and emerging areas such as animé, video and mobile gaming, along with specialised art and design brands.

Reemsborko will offer a full consultancy service for licensees eager to work with different properties that will stand out on the shelves in the UK market. The new company will also advise on future trends.

Max commented: “The pace of change is getting faster as licensees try to spot and serve promising new properties in a crowded marketplace.

“Reemsborko can make that process much quicker and easier, helping licensees to understand trends, spot potential partnerships in new and emerging brands and play to their strengths.”

Prior to Reemsborko, Max was senior licensing manager at GB eye. During a period of over 20 years he negotiated and signed more than 1,000 contracts in the genres of music, film, TV, football, art, brands, video games and animé, working with the industry’s major licensors and agents – as well as many specialist, niche and medium-sized licensors and agents – for UK, European and global deals across a variety of products.

Max can be contacted by clicking here and will also be attending Licensing Expo later this month, where he will be negotiating on behalf of a number of licensees across multiple categories.
