Masha and the Bear teams with Samsung in Italy

Deal sees preschool property joins forces with Samsung for major promotion in territory.

Masha and the Bear is teaming up with Samsung for a four-month campaign in the Italian market.

Brokered by Maurizio Distefano Licensing, the campaign will offer free downloads of Masha and the Bear episodes, games, ebooks and more.

With the purchase of any model of Samsung tablet, the consumer will be able to access and download – completely free – a wide range of Masha and the Bear digital assets including full-length episodes from the first three seasons, games, ebooks and more.

The promotion runs until February 2019.

Samsung has been running a major marketing campaign to support the initiative including online and TV ads, plus in-store and POS material.

“Needless to say, we are enormously excited about this promotion and our role in making it happen,” said Maurizio Distefano, president of MDL. “It’s a one-of-a-kind promotional activity for the Italian market with a global leader in consumer products that will not only be enormously popular with Masha fans, but will introduce many more people to these delightful characters.”
